Adventure Breaks Turn Firefighters!
Our Adventure Breaks group got the opportunity to visit a local fire station!
Whilst it was great fun all-round for a young people, it was also an opportunity to have an informal chat about the serious matter of fire safety. Fire safety is an important skill for keeping young people safe, but also enabling their independence at home.
Action Stations!
The team at Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue put out a number of stalls and activity station for our young people to explore and learn from.
There were opportunities to climb aboard the fire equipment, and they were even let loose on the fire hoses!
